My neighbour Caleb
Has a sister, and a Mother, and a Father
His parents love Caleb and his sister
And call them Son and Daughter
And Caleb’s father,
has a Mother & Father too
They visit every week
They are Caleb’s Grandparents

My neighbour Susan
She has a Mother and a Father
But they got divorced when she was little
So now she has a Stepfather
Susan’s Stepfather
Has a son named Demitri
From a previous marriage
And Demetri is Susan’s Stepbrother

Has a Mother and another Mother: two Mothers!
One Mother has a Brother
And this is Juanita’s Uncle
So Juanita’s Uncle
His name is Sam
Sam has two Daughters
And Juanita calls them her Cousins!

My neighbour Yang
Has a Mother but no Father – his Mother is a single Mom
His Mother has a Sister,
And this is Yang’s Aunt
So Yang’s Aunt
I don’t know that much about her
She has a cat
But I don’t really know if that counts as a family member…
