For the past decade, Scratch Garden has created awesome animations and music for young minds. Equal parts laughing + learning (and a dash of salamanders) are combined with original music across multiple genres to make engaging & entertaining experiences for kids and adults alike!

To date, the animated videos have amassed 1 billion video streams and 2 million subscribers on YouTube, and built a loyal audience of millions of listeners across all platforms – including more than 50,000 monthly Spotify listeners. Their fantastic new album, Songs in the Key of Bananas (September 2025), is sure to keep things growing for this team.

And now, Scratch Garden’s songwriters Sue & David Newberry bring their laughing and learning into the community via their multimedia live show, most recently opening the 2025 Peterborough Folk Festival mainstage. The high-energy show features a mix of a rock-band setup (live drums, guitar, bass, keys, two vocalists) and pre-recorded tracks that are synced with video of Scratch Garden‘s most popular characters dancing along.

From classrooms worldwide to living rooms and backseat sing-alongs, it is rare to meet a kid who hasn’t danced to one of Scratch Garden’s songs (or a parent who hasn’t happily sang along!). The Songs of Scratch Garden live show is bringing this beloved music to the stage, where every beat brings a giggle, every lyric sparks curiosity, and every kid feels invited to join the fun.
