Based on the familiar memory card game “Concentration,” this literacy center activity provides buddy pairs valuable practice in the correct placement and use of punctuation.

After matching punctuation marks – period, comma, question mark, exclamation point, and semicolon – with the sentences that need them to be complete, students will write the correct sentences on a recording sheet. I’ve provided an answer key.

Also included are teacher instructions, player instructions, and a game folder label for easy organization.
